The application of cooling tower and chimney unification & large diameter FRP flue

Due to the strict environmental protection requirement in our country,wet FGD has been widely used. Most of the new designed machine units have adopted this technology. The high desulfurization effective of this technology makes significant reduction of SO2 in the exhaust gas from Power Plants, also makes it possible for the adoption of cooling tower and chimney unification. The large diameter of 6.6 meters FRP flue, researched, developed, and produced by North China Electric Power Research Institute, China Metallurgical Construction Research Institute and our company, has come into service for Huaneng Power International INC. (Xindian). Among the new built power plants in German, SHU and HmaonSobelco from Belgium have become the power plant without flue gas by using FRP flue and cooling tower to release the desulfurized flue gas.
